Every drawing begins with the real architecture of the home you send us, not a stock template or automated filter.

We use your photographs as reference, then refine proportion, line, and atmosphere by hand so the piece feels elevated and lasting.

We may soften clutter or simplify minor distractions when it helps the portrait read more beautifully in print.

Historical notes, family context, and sentimental details are welcome; they help us preserve the feeling of the home, not just its facade.

Revision policy: revisions are limited to visible details, composition balance, and cleanup notes. They do not cover a new property, a major angle change, or a fully restyled redraw.

What do you need from me after purchase?
We ask for 3 to 8 clear exterior photos in daylight, including one straight-on front view, plus your preferred style, intended print size, and any notes on details to emphasize or remove.
Can you work from older or imperfect photos?
Often, yes. Historical, listing, and family photos can work well if the house remains clearly visible. When reference quality is limited, we may simplify finer details to preserve the overall elegance of the piece.
How much creative interpretation is involved?
Every portrait begins with the actual proportions and features of the home, then is refined through an artistic lens. We may soften clutter, rebalance landscaping, or simplify minor elements so the final drawing feels timeless rather than overly literal.
Can I choose the drawing style?
Yes. You can request a classic architectural look, a warmer nostalgic finish, or a balanced signature style. You may also share a reference image to guide mood and tone.
What is included in revisions?
Revisions cover visible architectural details, composition balance, captions, and cleanup notes. They do not include switching to a different property, a substantially different angle, or a full redraw in a new style.
How are final files delivered?
Final artwork is delivered digitally by email as a high-resolution JPG and print-ready PDF. At launch, Vellum House does not ship framed prints, which gives you flexibility on final print size and finish.
